Cheers and celebration filled the air as Health Focus Africa (HFA) held its first-ever medical camp outside Kenya at Chia View Mission Center, Dowa District, Malawi on November 8th 2025!
Over 200 local residents received free medical consultations, essential medication, and health education — a blessing to a community with limited access to healthcare.

Medical Camp At God-Gamba Village, Homa Bay County, Kenya
God-Gamba Village: Where Hope Meets Healing
God-Gamba Village is a quiet rural community nestled within Homa Bay County in western Kenya. The village is closely associated with the Gamba Dam, a vital lifeline for local families, and sits within a region celebrated for its natural beauty—near Lake Victoria, Lake Simbi Nyaima, and Ruma National Park.
Despite its rich surroundings, God-Gamba faces significant challenges in accessing basic healthcare. Many families must travel long distances to receive medical attention, often delaying care until illness becomes severe.
In response, a medical outreach camp was held in God-Gamba, bringing compassionate care directly to the community. Through this effort, 154 patients were treated in a single day, including 7 children under the age of five and 147 adults and older children. Women made up the majority of those served, reflecting both the health needs and the resilience of mothers and caregivers in the village.
This medical camp was more than numbers—it was a visible expression of God’s love in action. Through timely treatment, prayer, and human connection, lives were touched, dignity was restored, and hope was renewed. God-Gamba stands as a reminder that when faith and service come together, even the most remote communities can experience healing and transformation.
Medical Camp At Eronge-Nyakoora Grounds, Kisii County, Kenya

Organized by Health Focus Africa in Collaboration with Kisii County Health Services
The villages of Eronge and Nyakoora, located near the towns of Marani, Kegogi, Engoto, and Nyakeiri in Kisii County, Kenya, are home to closely connected communities. Situated less than 50 kilometers from Lake Victoria, these areas greatly benefited from a free medical camp organized by Health Focus Africa (HFA) in partnership with Kisii County Health Services. At this camp 344 received free healthcare.
Services Offered:
Residents received a variety of essential medical services, including:
- Cervical and breast screening/examinations.
- Random blood sugar testing.
- Vital signs monitoring (blood pressure, respiratory rate, and pulse rate).
- Consultations for various medical conditions.
- Dispensing of necessary medications free of charge.

Medical Camp At Ngecha Center, Limuru, Kiambu County, Kenya

Health Focus Africa (HFA) joined forces with the Kiambu County Government and Department of Health Services to bring essential healthcare to the community in Kenya. With free curative care, lab and pharmacy services, cervical screenings, and HTS services, we were able to serve 180 people in need. This camp is a testament to the power of community and charity working hand in hand. 💙

Kapsokwony is a tiny settlement in Bungoma County, Kenya. The town is part of Mount Elgon County Council and the Mount Elgon constituency. Kapsokwony division has a population of 24,526, with 1,586 categorized as urban. Healthcare is a fundamental right, yet millions of Kenyans lack access to even the most basic medical treatments, and this town and county is not different.

In a commendable effort to provide health services, the Department of Health and Sanitation, in partnership with Health Focus Africa, recently organized a free health services initiative for the Gem Wagai community at the Wagai Health Centre. The event saw the provision of a wide range of medical services to the local residents. From basic check-ups and consultations to more specialized treatments, the health professionals on-site ensured that the community’s health needs were promptly addressed. The Gem Wagai community welcomed the opportunity with open arms. Residents expressed their gratitude for the convenience and affordability of the services, highlighting their positive impact on their overall well-being. The success of this event underscores the importance of public-private partnerships in addressing the health needs of communities across the county.
